For the Faurecia Biosensing Safety Challenge, Mercku submitted their powerful wireless sensor product – WiSe. This sensor can accurately detect microscopic changes to localized environments, measuring heartbeats and breaths without wearables. In the context of a vehicle, this product has the ability to monitor heart activity and passenger presence and motion, while limiting the effects of environmental noise, bumpy roads and high speeds on detection accuracy.
