Blueberry

Blueberry is a tech provider which produces smart eyeglass to provide real-time feedback for those who need to relax and focus, and better understand their minds.

For the Faurecia Biosensing Safety Challenge, Blueberry’s technology was able to measure hemodynamic blood oxygenation changes by using a type of  light-based brain sensing called functional near infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS). By measuring this raw data in real-time, Blueberry was able to capture changes in mental load, as well as changes in hemodynamic response in the brain tissue which could be used to pre-emptively detect a stroke.
