BioSense is a tech provider which has developed the first working non-contact electrocardiogram (EKG) sensor for constant, non-invasive monitoring of the heart.
For the Faurecia Biosensing Safety Challenge, Biosense’s solution demonstrated an ability to monitor the electrical activity of the heart through clothing and materials – without any skin contact. This sensor has been proven to work in a moving vehicle, and is able to analyze over 480 biomarkers in its EKG signal to diagnose hundreds of medical and wellness conditions, including arrhythmias and abnormal blood sugar levels.
