Daniel Szulc, HBSc, PhD
Chief Product Officer of Oxford Cancer Analytics (OXcan), a venture backed health-tech company enabling curative cancer treatments through early detection. OXcan targets the unexplored gaps in cancer management by looking at the intersection of high-throughput multi-omics and machine learning with an emphasis on proteins to discover circulating molecular signatures for unprecedented cancer early detection accuracy. Daniel holds a Bachelor’s in Physiology and Chemistry and a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Toronto, where he was recognized as a UofT Top Scholar for his impact as a STEM innovator and role model. His academic and industrial research spans the fields of biology, chemistry, medicine and physics and has led to several peer-reviewed manuscripts, inventions and collaborative projects awarded millions of research and commercial funding geared towards clinical translation.
